Faisal Ansari is an experienced Digital and Agile transformation leader with over 9 years of consulting experience. He has worked with clients in various industries such as Financial Services, Travel and Oil & Gas to develop strategies and deliver impactful results. Faisal has a customer-centric view to problem solving and building digital products that delight end users. He is passionate about helping organizations unlock agility and navigate the volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous (VUCA) world we live in today.

Faisal has:

  • Coached leadership, product owners and scrum masters in the lubricants business line for a global Oil & Gas client by bringing alignment on program North Star, Objectives & Key Results(OKRs). Cascaded OKRs to team-level strategy and coached teams on agile ways of working to support execution. Achieved $15M USD in savings/year and improved operational efficiency.
  • Led delivery of iOS and Android mobile application (1.5M+ downloads) for a major Oil & Gas client in Canada enabling end-users to pay at pump, enable car wash and loyalty management. Collaborated with senior client leadership to define and execute on the product roadmap and established an agile delivery model with 3 squads (~25 resources).
  • Served as Chief Product Owner, leading a team of 8 product owners, to develop a first of a kind cloud-based Payment-as-a-Service platform (200M+ transactions annually) for 84 Credit Unions, delivering ~$20M in cost savings. Partnered with CEO and other client executives to define the program vision, scope and timelines.
  • Applied a customer-centric design approach to build an online banking platform for retail and business customers for a large US bank (~9M user base). Coached and mentored scrum masters, product owners and the senior stakeholders on Agile mindset/delivery and leveraging agile tools (ex. Jira/Confluence/Trello) to improve team performance and collaboration.
  • Led the design of an Agile transformation to setup a digital factory (~120 resources) for a large bank in Western Canada, enabling them to prioritize consumer-facing digital products based on business value and improve time to market by 40%. Coached senior leadership and teams on utilizing Scaled Agile Framework to improve focus and bring alignment to the organization.
