Michael (he/him) is a senior leader with 17 years experience focused on helping large organizations develop business agility to drive their transformation agendas. Whether helping teams up their game to deliver customer outcomes or diagnosing systemic enterprise challenges that are roadblocks to transformation, Michael’s approaches are anchored in meeting people where they are at with a flexible approach to agile ways of working.
His experience includes:
- Design and implementation of enterprise agile operating model for a top-10 US foundation, including delivering of agile coaching and establishment of an agile coach center of excellence. Coached executives to the target behaviours and redesigned the lifecycle of talent programs for employees
- Coaching and transition of IT business units at a German software company to a scaled agile model including internal-client journey definition, leadership coaching, implementation advisory and change management to adopt the target model
- Design and implementation of digital operating model for underwriting organization at a large Canadian insurance company. Facilitation of customer journey design and rollout of cross-functional agile teams dedicated to journeys across product lines with sustained team coaching
- Strategy development and implementation of an agile operating model to tackle climate change initiatives for a Canadian crown corporation. Worked with client to pilot new team model focused on cross-functional mission teams and created roadmap for new ways of working rollout
Prior to ADAPTOVATE, Michael was a Senior Manager at Deloitte’s consulting practice leading agile transformations and reimagining the future of work for clients across Canada, US and Germany, and was a co-author of Deloitte’s global adaptable organization methodologies.
