CASE STUDY – AGILE COACHING AT A WATER AUTHORITY
The Digital Delivery group of a water authority came to us with this challenge:
We need to increase our resilience to change and improve our ability to scale ahead of a planned amalgamation program. We’ve identified we aren’t efficient enough, with large management overheads. We aren’t effective in our delivery for greater return on investment. We need to get the teams ready for migration, and improve the prioritization discussion with our stakeholders. Can you help?
In collaboration with the water authority, ADAPTOVATE implemented Jira Align and Agile coaching to provide transparency and linkage to work strategy.
Key approaches
ADAPTOVATE collaborated with the Digital Delivery team and:
- Designed work item hierarchy and configured Jira Align to meet the client’s ways of working
- Delivered technical integration between Jira Align and Jira Software to deliver transparency in value delivery
- Developed and delivered training for leaders in running meetings, planning, delivering and managing dependencies more effectively through using Jira Align
- Embedded Jira Align as the single source of truth in managing programs of work by coaching on how the tool to build and communicate development roadmaps
