In July 2020 ADAPTOVATE had the honor to assist JerseySTEM through our Pledge1% partnership. JerseySTEM is a non-profit which bridges gaps in opportunity and innovation through STEM education.
CONTEXT:
•JerseySTEM is a fully volunteer-led nonprofit organization providing STEM education to underserved children in New Jersey through innovative, hands-on and online afterschool projects and inquiry-based learning opportunities.
•JerseySTEM is projecting significant growth over the next 5 years which requires a platform that can grow and evolve to adequately support the non-profit, in a longer-term way.
•ADAPTOVATE was engaged to help the client replace their simple help desk email inbox with Jira Service Desk to provide a unified support system for their volunteers.
KEY ACTIVITIES:
•ADATOVATE supported JerseySTEM in refining their proof of concept through JIRA subject matter expertise.
•We developed a full roll out plan for the implementation of Jira Service Desk and the integration of Confluence knowledge base.
•We managed communications and coordination across 150+ internal stakeholders and external teaching volunteers.
RESULTS:
•The release of a robust Jira Service Desk system was completed on the target date as planned.
•Successfully integrated the Confluence knowledge base to create a more seamless volunteer and trouble ticketing experience.
