Fred has deep management consulting and industry experience and for over 30 years has led business transformations required in response to large scale growth, economic downturns, new market opportunities, M&A consolidations and divestitures, and technology advancements.
Fred’s experience:
- Led the transformation of the operating model of a leading global technology provider from an inefficient country model to a global operations and supply chain model resulting in significant savings in resources, transportation, warehousing, and vendor costs.
- Led the transformation of the logistics organizations for one the worlds largest retailers and wholesalers to enable growth through adoption of new processes and performance metrics enabled through the efficient use of technology and optimization.
- Led the transformation to agile development practices of leading national distributor and wholesaler of specialty consumer products to improve customer satisfaction and drive development efficiency.
- Team leadership of an agile at scale product delivery for a large automotive OEM to productize internal finance function and bring to market a managed financial services that could be offered to other OEMs and related industries.
- Led the transformation of the customer service, finance, and supply chain functions of a large regional retailer, wholesaler, insurance, and energy distribution company that was required to return the company to profitability post an economic recession.
- Led the identification and evaluation of opportunities and the eventual supply chain transformation to meet investor goals of a reduction of $400M in annual costs a leading global consumer electronics manufacturer that was recent acquired.
