Promoting positive education outcomes for children and families in disadvantaged communities.
As ADAPTOVATE continue to partner with Pledge 1% we continue to work with the most inspiring organisations. We had the greatest privilege to work Our Place | Colman Foundation, and their Morwell SIG Partners.
Organisations and Departments of the SIG partners included Department of Education and Training, Department of Health and Human Services, GoodStart Early Learning, TAFE Gippsland, Morwell Park Primary School, Morwell Central Primary School and Latrobe City Council.
Our Place is working to bring together, through local schools, the resources children and families need to thrive – integrating high quality early learning, effective schooling, health and community services, and adult education, training and employment support in ways that meet the needs and help fulfill the aspirations of the community.
ADAPTOVATE is partnering with them to facilitate a series of three workshops. Last week, we focused on developing a 10 year vision for the Children, Families and Communities in Morwell. Fantastic start, and we look forward to the next workshops to develop a strategy to deliver on the vision.
We’d like to thank Andrew Eastcott, Keita Matsumoto, Justine Smyth, Chris Joustra, Nathan Brown, Greg Blakeley, Brad Beach, Suzanne Miller and Annemieke Van Vliet-Ellen for having us. You guys were awesome!
