Our team is the greatest asset we have, and it’s a privilege to share just a little bit more about who they are. This month we feature Agata Przespolewska, our talent manager in Europe.
First up - how long have you worked with us?
I started in March 2022
Why did you join us? Were you in the industry previously, or looking for a new career direction?
I was looking for a new place for myself and I wanted to join a company with culture and values I could identify with. Also, it was important for me to be able to proudly promote the company I work for to my candidates. It is a great pleasure to work in a place where employees can grow and be happy.
How has your previous experience and career helped define where you are now? Would you have done things differently?
Looking back, I am very glad to be where I am at the moment. However, there are a few things I would have done differently.
First of all, I would have chosen a different studies. I studied environmental engineering and worked in that field for quite a while but it was not my thing.
Later, I stayed at home with my children for a long time which was amazing from a family perspective but resulted in a long career break. That is why I am very grateful for my first recruitment job because it helped me to define my career goals. Better late than never :)
What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Lately, I have become very appreciative of nature and its beauty. I find myself to be at peace and very happy when I can spend time walking in the forest or admiring beautiful Polish lakes.
What is your greatest extravagance
To be honest, I cannot think of any. I am a very down to earth person.
Which talent would you most like to have?
If I could choose a talent for myself, it would be painting. I admire people who create beautiful art since I cannot draw a nice circle 😊
What do you most value in your friends and in colleagues - and are they different things?
I have an amazing best friend whom I have known since early childhood. What I value the most in our relationship is that we can rely on each other no matter what, we love to spend time together and create beautiful memories.
In my colleagues teaming is what I appreciate most. We cooperate closely and work towards the same goals. We reach out for advice and learn from our experiences. Your team is always there for you!
What is your motto?
I would say ‘Get things done’ because I act quickly and love to tick things off my to do list.
Finally - You've time travelled back to your 10- year old self - What advice would you give?
When I was young, I was a very diligent student. From the time perspective, I know that school grades really do not matter. It is better to focus on something you are passionate about because this enables you to grow and have fun. You do not have to be good at everything.
