Our Australian state government client came to us with this challenge....
Our department is undergoing a once-in-a-generation change to transform into a statewide environmental regulator. We need to mitigate delivery risk and develop new ways of working with the 200 + people impacted by our transformation program. Can you help?
In collaboration with the state government client, ADAPTOVATE designed and facilitated coaching and training across the department.
Key approaches
- Facilitate ways of working sessions for the 200+ people directly impacted by the transformation program, incl. staff in regional locations
- Deliver agile training to the Board, Executives and the wider leadership team
- Provide on the ground coaching to mobilize six cross-functional program streams, providing them with the tools, processes and techniques to set them up for success
- Develop playbooks to support each stream with their day-to-day activities
This challenge was complex because:
- They needed to transform from largely reactive to largely proactive in the way they regulate the market
- The client chose to use agile ways of working to mitigate delivery risks and deliver incremental units of value to the public sooner
