In 2024, ADAPTOVATE and the New South Wales Council of Deans Education (NSWCDE) worked together to identify key pain points with the rise of emerging technologies. The following problem statement was dissected and discussed: “The education sector is facing challenges with the rise of emerging technologies (e.g., Artificial Intelligence [AI]) particularly revolving around student outcomes”. A desired outcome was in addressing the pain points that are faced by Education students (Pre-Service Teachers) against the backdrop of their journey from being a Pre-Service Teacher to an In-Service Teacher (teacher).
The resulting collaboration has resulted in this white paper, authored by:
Farah Fayyad (ADAPTOVATE)
Don Carter (University of Technology Sydney)
Sue Gregory (University of New England)
